Chapter 01
The idea
Hong Kong’s great trading houses built groups of businesses that lasted for generations. We saw the same opportunity in software.
Good software businesses earn steadily from loyal customers, year after year. Too often they are sold, merged or run for a quick exit. We founded Alturian to do the opposite: to bring durable, cash-generative software businesses into one Group and own them for the long term.

Chapter 02
Building the Group
The Group today brings together six businesses serving companies across Asia: four in software and two in services.
One Retail, the retail ERP; Offbeat, the agency OS; Nyra, the ERP for every operation; CShark MDM, device management; Monkeybar, digital transformation; and Nimbli, business services. Each keeps its own brand and its own team, and answers to its own customers.

Chapter 03
Across five markets
From its headquarters in Hong Kong, the Group established companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Each market has its own office and its own registered company, so the businesses can serve customers locally while drawing on the whole Group.

Chapter 04
A holding company
Alturian is now organised as a holding company, with Alturian HK Limited as the parent of the Group.
Finance, legal and technology are run once for every business, and the Group carries a new identity to match: one name and one mark above the businesses it owns.

The mark
A summit, built in parts
Our mark is an A drawn as a mountain and built from a lattice of triangles. Each triangle is a business; together they make something taller than any one of them. The coral flank is the side of the mountain that catches the light.

Next
The next chapter
Our ambition is to become for software and services what Asia’s great trading houses are for trade: a broad group of businesses across the region, owned and run for generations.
That means adding businesses carefully, keeping each one strong on its own, and judging our progress over decades.
